Pianist Keith Jarrett and conductor Dennis Russell Davies - musical collaborators for
20 yerars - have both singled out this second round of Mozart Piano Concertos as
an exceptional experience in their recording history. Jarrett: "I feel it's some of
the best work I've done. There were things happening that were magic. The orchestra
was taken by surprise, Dennis was taken by surprise, I was taken by surprise."
The emphasis is on communicative interplay between the soloist and the Stuttgart
Chamber Orchestra under the inspired direction of Davies.
