Since the release of his first ECM album Crystallisatio, Errki-Sven Tüür has risen to the front ranks of contemporary music. A generation younger than Arvo Pärt and Veljo Törmis, Erkki-Sven Tüür is now one of the outstanding voices of Baltic composition. His music is realized here with great sensitivity by Dennis Russell Davies with the Vienna Radio Symphony, and David Geringas is exceptional as cello soloist .
