ECM at Enjoy Jazz Festival

Enjoy Jazz is one of the most extensive German jazz festivals, spread between three towns in the Rhein-Neckar region –Heidelberg, Mannhein and Ludwigshafen – over a six week period. This year the festival celebrates its 10th anniversary and spotlights music from ECM.

Concerts include:

Julia Hülsmann Trio (October 7). German pianist Hülsmann releases her debut ECM album, “The End Of A Summer” in October.

Vassilis Tsabropoulos/Anja Lechner/U.T. Gandhi (October 14). Their CD “Melos”, the logical continuation of work begun on “Chants, Hymns and Dances”, is released this week in central Europe.

Norma Winstone with Klaus Giesing and Glauco Venier (October 15). Album: “Distances”. Click here to read more about "Distances"

Ketil Bjørnstad’s “The Light” – the song-cycle subtitled “Songs of Love and Fear”, with mezzo-soprano Randi Stene and violist Lars Anders Tomter, and the composer at the piano (October 16). Album out now. "The Light"

Enrico Rava/Stefano Bollani (November 3). Album: "The Third Man"

Bobo Stenson Trio (November 6). New album “Cantando” released this week in Europe. "Cantando"

Nik Bärtsch’s Ronin (November 7). Newest album: "Holon"

Garth Knox/Agnés Vesterman (November 8). Album: "D'Amore"

Arve Henriksen/Jan Bang (November 8). New Henriksen album, “Cartography”, co-produced by Jan Bang, is due in October.

Trygve Seim/Frode Haltli: (November 13). New album “Yeraz” released in September.
