More titles, more formats
In keeping with the label’s original manifesto to keep the music available, the new edition of the ECM catalogue features more titles than ever before. And in more formats: as CDs, as LPs, and as digital downloads. Many titles can be purchased in all three formats; some are currently available as downloads only. A number of listeners have written to ask where they can download ECM albums. The list of digital platforms and portals distributing our music is expanding all the time, but here are some significant services, with relevant links.
iTunes
AmazonMP3
Emusic (in all European countries except Germany and France)
Musicload (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
Saturn (Germany)
ex libris (Switzerland)
Qobuz (France)
Virgin Mega (France)
FNAC (France)
CDON (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland)
Platekompaniet (Norway)
TDC (Denmark)
HDtracks (US)
Rhapsody (US)
Zune (US)
Of these services, HDtracks and Qobuz offer ECM music in ‘lossless’ formats.
Meanwhile, all of ECM’s currently-available ‘physical’ albums – in CD and/or LP formats – can be purchased via the webshop on this site, from all major internet retailers, from good record shops everywhere, and from our international distribution partners (click here for list of distributors).
