Robert Levin Diapason de l’année

Robert Levin’s complete recordings of Mozart’s piano sonatas, released as a 7-CD box-set, have been awarded the Diapason D’or of the year award (Diapason de l’année). According to Diapason, “On the composer’s own instrument – a fortepiano from the 1780s – Robert Levin renews our understanding of Mozart’s sonatas without ever falling into the trap of demonstration.”
