Wolfert Brederode awarded Edison Jazz Prize

Congratulations to Wolfert Brederode, who has won the Edison Jazz award – the prestigious Dutch music prize awarded for outstanding achievements in the music industry – for his recent ECM recording Ruins and Remains.  On the album, recorded at the Sendesaal Bremen and produced by Manfred Eicher, the pianist is joined by percussionist Joost Lijbaart and the Matangi string quartet.
